چکیده

Aim: Autoimmune hemolytic anemia (AIHA) is characterized by the production of antibodies directed against red blood cells. We aimed to describe clinical presentation, hematologic and biochemical profiles, treatment modalities, underlying diseases outcomes in children suffering from AIHA.
Material Method: In a retrospectively manner, we consecutively recrutied 62 (aged 1 month-18 years) with AIHA who had been followed Erciyes University Child Hospital between January, 2000 November, 2017. Results: The mean age at time diagnosis was 61.9±51.9 months (range:1-192) including 28 girls 34 boys. most common complaints included fatigue fever while findings were jaundice hepatosplenomegaly. 22 (35.4%), there comorbid, active, non-specific infection (upper respiratory tract infection, lower diarrhea, urinary infection). At diagnosis, hemoglobin (Hb) level 6.9±2.5 g/dL (range: 5-9). glucocorticoid therapy given majority patients no medical 4 patients. Of primary AIHA, 6 unresponsive one patient responded partially. It found that risk factors 36 secondary as immunodeficiency autoimmune disorders being factors. Conclusion: immunodeficiencies highly prevalent included. By advance whole exome sequencing technology, believe disease our study detected quite high presented children.

nTregs in Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia

Objectives: Naturally occurring regulatory T cells (nTregs) play an important role in immunologic tolerance and control immune-mediated pathology in murine models of autoimmune hemolytic anemia. Our aim was to measure nTregs and levels of interleukin (IL) 10 and IL-12 in peripheral blood mononuclear cell (PBMC) cultures from patients with idiopathic warm autoimmune hemolytic anemia (wAIHA) in a...
